Weekend specials

This applies to any weekend visitors who arrive on a Friday and depart on either the Sunday or the Monday of the same weekend. A minimum of two nights accommodation therefore applies and pay this rate per night for each room: Single occupancy: R 890 per night; Double occupancy: R 1290; Triple (children only/Room 1 only): R 1690.

Book two or more rooms and take another 10% off the above rate.

Weekend and group tour accommodation discounts - East London

Special prices for weekend school and other tour special offers

We are proud to offer touring sports groups, schools and other visitors requiring weekend accommodation, some preferred rate discounts. Please note these are by application only and at our sole discretion. Discounts do not apply on long weekends; the December holiday season; the Ironman weekend in January each year and other national or special events.

Terms and conditions applying to discounted accommodation

Prices are subject to written confirmation from Riverbend; all discounted accommodation is to be paid when booking. Discounted accommodation can not be cancelled within fourteen days of arrival; if cancelled before 14 days of arrival only 50% will be refunded.

Group bookings

Ideal for golfers or sports teams on tour

This applies to any three day or more occupancy and applies to group bookings of three rooms or more. The booking need not be on a weekend/any-day options.

Single occupancy: R 950 per night; Double occupancy: R 1350; Triple (children only/Room 1 only): R 1690.

Book the entire guest house of six rooms and take another 10% off the above rate.

Near to all East London schools and sports venues.

East London does not currently experience many traffic problems and all schools and/or sporting venues such as the East London Golf Club; astro-turf and swimming gala venues can usually be reached within the following time (maximum/peak hour in brackets):

Airport: 20 min (30)

East London Golf Club: 10 min (15)

Joan Harrison swimming complex: 10 min (20)

Nahoon Reef/Nahoon beaches: 8 min (12)

Selborne and Clarendon Schools: 12 min (17)

Other schools: between 15 and 15 minutes (10-20)
